Lymebees at Asian Tsunamis

Game 1; Bumgarner vs Samardzja; Bees plate 5 runs in the 4th. Tsunamis score 1 run in the 5th and 2 runs in the 7th. Bees would get 4 runs in the 8th and Tsunamis get 2 runs in bottom of 8th, but that would end the scoring as Bees win 9-5.

Game 2; Arrieta vs Cueto; Adams hits a solo HR for the Bees in the 2nd. Tsunamis tie the score in the bottom of the 2nd. Bees score another run in the 3rd, and with Avila on second and two outs in the 8th, Castro strikes out but reaches first on passed ball. Beltre follows with a 2-run double for a 4-1 Bees lead. Tsunamis get a 2-run HR by Dickerson in the bottom of the 8th, but Bees hold on to win 4-3.
Game 3; Hendricks vs Hughes; Tsunamis use 5 pitchers in the game. The Bees would score the only run on a Valbuena HR in the 9th with 2 outs as Hendricks pitches a complete game shutout for a 1-0 Bees win.

2015 Second Period

Asian Tsunamis at Lymebees

Game 1; Cueto vs Arrieta; Tsunamis get one run in the 1st.  Lymebees get a 2-run HR by Cano in the 3rd and score 3 runs and add 1 unearned run in the 4th to end the scoring. Bees win 4-1.

Game 2; Chen vs Gonzalez; Tsunamis score 1 run in the 1st.  Bees get 3 runs in the 7th with 2 hits and 1 earned run and hold on to win 3-1.

Game 3; Cashner vs Wheeler; Tsunamis score 1 run in the 1st, 3rd and 8th innings. Bees get 1 run in the 3rd and 2 runs in the 4th. With the score tied at 3-3 and 2 outs, Avila gets a single and gets to second on a pitcher error. Cano hits a single to score Avila. Bees win 4-3.

2015 Second Period

Birds of Pray at The Plague

G-1 The Plague got a 1st inning lead off walk & turned it into a run on a Brantley SF. The Plague added 2 more in the 3rd on RBI hits from Cain & Brantley. Birds got a 2-run homer from N. Cruz in the 4th & a 3-run homer from Cruz in the 5th (#7) to build a 6-3 lead. Prado homered in the 6th to extend the lead to 7-3. The Plague then scored 5 in the 6th, capped by a bases-clearing double by Span to take an 8-7 lead & end the scoring.
G-2 Birds built an early 3-1 lead after 2. The Plague used a 2-run homer by Lawrie to tie at 3. Birds regained the lead on Lagares’ 5th-inning double. Goldschmidt led off the 6th with a solo for a 4-4 tie. The Plague then got a 2-out 8th inning pinch single from Rivera for a 5-4 win.
G-3 M. Cabrera hit a 2-run homer (#7) to give the Birds the early lead. The Plague battled back, getting RBI doubles from LeMahieu & Moustakas for 5-3 lead. C. Headley hit his 2nd homer of the game to ignite a 5-run 7th, capped by 6 straight singles for an 8-5 lead. After a bases loaded walk in the 8th, the Birds held on for an 8-6 win.

Both teams scored 19 runs on 32 hits. Y. Molina (Birds) threw out all 3 attempted base stealers, & has now thrown out 7 of his last 8 attempted base stealers.

2015 Second Period

Birds of Pray at Devil Dogs

G-1 Dogs get a 2-run homer from A. LaRoche in the 1st & a solo from O. Arcia in the 3rd to build a 4-0 lead. Shields went 6 strong & the pen the last three in a 4-2 Dogs win. Birds got an RBI from Gennett & a solo (#6) from M. Cabrera.

G-2 C. Carrasco scattered 4 hits over 9 innings, & J. Altuve hit an 8th inning double for the only run in the Birds 1-0 win. Gallardo 8 IP, 6 hits 1 BB in the loss.

G-3 Dogs lead off the bottom of the 1st with 4 straight hits, & J. Werth hit a 3-run homer for 3-0 lead. Birds got an 8th inning 3-run homer from N. Cruz (#5) to tie the game at 4. Birds got an RBI double from D. Solano in the 12th for a 5-4 lead. S. Perez hit a 2-out solo off closer H. Street to tie the game after 12. Dogs got a 2-out walkoff RBI single in the bottom of the 15th by D. Wright for a 6-5 Dogs win. The Dogs pounded out 19 hits, & Ellsbury, Werth, Wright & Phillips each had 3 hits.

2015 Third Period

Lemonheads at Lymebees

Game 1; McHugh vs Arrieta; Lemonheads score 1 run in the 1st and 2 more runs in 5th. Bees get 1 run in the 2nd and tie the game in the 5th with 2 runs. Lemonheads score 1 run in the 6th, HRs by Martinez and Desmond in the 7th, and Desmond ends the scoring with a 2-run HR in the 9th as the Lemonheads win 9-3.

Game 2; Liriano vs Gray; Lemonheads get 2 runs in the 1st, a solo HR by Murphy in the 2nd and 1 run in the 4th. Bees get a 2-run HR by Tulowitzki in the 4th. Lemonheads get 1 run in the 6th. Bees get 2 runs in the bottom of the 6th. Lemonheads get a solo HR by Walker in the 9th to lead 6-4. Bees manage to load the bases with 2 outs in the 9th. Tulowitzki hits his second HR of the game for a walk-off Grand Slam as the Bees win 8-6.

Game 3; Stroman vs Hendricks; Lemonheads get 2-run HR by Martinez in the 1st. Bees score one run in the bottom of the 1st and another run in the 4th. Lemonheads get a 2-run HR by Murphy in the 6th. Bees tie the game in the bottom of the 6th on a 2-run HR by Beltre. Bees get 1 run in the 7th and 2 runs in the 8th to win 7-4.

Lemonheads out hit Bees in series 41 to 28 hits.
