Game 1-3 at Stardome by choice of the Eliminators

Game 1 Degrom VS Buehler

Top of 2nd Escobar hits a 2 run shot that is turned back to a double runner to third  two strikeouts later inning is over.

Top of third Harper says BS and hits a long ball ……One out later Freeman hits another to same location.  Degrom strikes out the side but gives up two long balls…..

Bottom of the third Stars get a bunt single from Barnes walk to Saurez and a one out Triple from Gennett to tie it all up at 2…Eliminators add one in the 5th and 6th

Stars can only get one more run  While Eliminators have a blast…. Davis that is a two run shot in the 8th  

Eliminators win Game 1 7 to 3

Game 2   Lugo VS Keller

Bader HR in third   for Stars  Eliminators tie it with a big HR of their own by Escobarin the 4th

That’s it until the 8th  Bader in the 9 hole gets a one out walk  steals second and scores on a suarez single.

Hughes closes the door in Ninth

Stars win Game 2    2 to 1

Game 3  Sanchez Vs Flaherty

Alfaro and Segura tag big time HR in 3rd inning  but that’s all the muster

Stars struggle through 6 innings  but in the 7th with two outs two walks are given up and pitcher is pulled for Rebertson to Face Bader in the NINE HOLE

BLASTS A THREE RUN SHOT  ………………DICE GO FLYING………….Visitors Dugout takes a fierce beating cards boards dice etc…..

Hughes Comes in for two innings of shut out pitching.

Stars win 3-2

Game 4

After a good Break Series moves to the SALT PALACE

Game 4   Syndagard VS Kershaw

Stars can’t score get 3 hits 

Eliminators take full advantage scoring 7 runs albeit 4 unearned  he did not need but 1

Eliminators Tie it up 2 game each by winning  7-0

Syndagard gets the shutout

Game 5

Buehler vs Degrom

Degrom gets shelled Rolling Matlocks are real 

Eliminators win 6-4  but lead all way through game.

Stupid highlight stars hit 3 hr in a row first two turned back  and gennet lost 2 hr’s in the game 

Somewhere in this game DICE WENT FLYING….still the visitors dugout just different team…..

Stars now down 2 game to 3

Game 6

Morton VS Keller

Lead off HR by Suarez  and kemp knocks in two more in the 4th   Eliminators get an unearned run in the 5th but that’s it.

Stars win Game 6  3 to 1

Game 7

SANCHEZ VS FLAHERTY

Bottom of 1st  Harper scores after walking on a freeman triple

Top of 4th Stars get a single by BADER scoring Gregorious  followed by a barnes sac Suarez hits a single scoring bader  the 3rd run of the inning

Stars add a solo HR by Gregorious in the 6th

Eliminators start to come back lead off man gets a walk and scores but they strand two runners tieing run at plate twice but Hughes says NONO

Stars add a run in the 7th on a pr stolen base by Allen who scores on a two out single by kemp.

Stars RP bullpen is awesome in series and stars hold on to win

Games 1-3 at Stardome by choice of Lemonheads

Game 1 Degrom vs Sale

Story Leading off the series Hits a HR but its turned back to a double  no worries as he scorwes later on a jd Martinez Single but Murpht is gunned down trying to score  Gallo gets a sac and the lemonheads jump out to a 3-0 lead

Bottom of Fourth Shaw tags one over left field wall for a 4-0 lemonhead lead.

SIXTH inning Stars get 4 runs ….3 unearned on a double hbp error and a pair of singles….Magical 6th inning……..Stars go on to win 4-3

Degrom  CG 7K’s   Sale gets the loss

Game 2  Lugo Vs Foltynewicz

Gallo blast a long shot in 2nd for a 1-0 lemonhead lead 

Shaw Scores in the fifth

And in the Magical 6th Shaw blasts a 2 run bomb

Stars only Plate a run on a Gennett HR that was turned back scoring Carpenter.

Folty gets the W  8 K’s  Lugo gets the big L

Game 3

Sanchez Vs Corbin

Story Score twice in first two inning  capped with a 2 run HR to jump out to a 4 to 0 lemonhead lead

CJ Cron Blast a HR but its turned back so a 2 run shot puts runners on 2nd and 3rd…no worries Marte singles them both home…..

Lead is now 4-2 Lemonheads

After several heart pounding moments for both teams the stars in the BOTTOM of the ninth with no outs get two on  to face the mighty perez.

Pinch Hit Salsa Bot Carpenter in the 6th spot of the line up… MAGICAL 66   walk off HR

Stars take 2-1 game lead and series heads to the juice factory for a four game potential showdown….

Game 4

Kershaw vs Manea

Top of First Harrison Bader hits a 3 run blast giving the Stars a 3 run lead early…but that’s it no more noice it this game from the Stars

Lemonheads on the other hand take advantage  Zimmerman solo shot in first  gallo scores in second   and the Lemon heads take the lead in the Magical sixth with a 2 run blast by Shaw

They add another in the 7th  and lemonheads  go on to win 5-3

Degrom vs Sale

Degrom throws 11 innings 1 run ball until he is pulled and first batter for floro knocks in a run.

Lemonheads win it in bottom of 11 albies scoring on Blackmon single

Lemonheads are now up 3-2 in series

Game 6

Stars come alive hit the leather off the ball

17 hits 3 HRs  and a total of 9 runs

Beating the lemonheads 9-3 in Game 6  yes  by 6 runs  Magical I know

Series now tied 3-3

Sanchez VS Corbin

First inning story first ab called out on strikes and ejected for arguing

Blackmon score for the lemonheads in the 4th for a 1-0 lead

Another Brick in the Juggs Wall

Juggernauts continue to hit a wall they can’t punch through. Needing only one win per their last four series to almost certainly secure a playoff spot Juggs lose 6 straight. And play off hopes pretty well dashed . A depleted bullpen is the biggest reason we can’t contend anymore. Game 1 Ace Degrom for stars (20) . Lowly Gonzales for Juggs (11).  Bottom of first the stars start their hitting streak . Suarez +5 single, Marte +8 homer turned to a double by Gonzales (+21) , Cron +5 rbi single, Ramos  +1rbi sac fly to CF , Gurriel +5 double, Bader +4 3 run homer , Gennett single, Kemp single, zobrist walk against +35 , back to Suarez rbi single, marte and Cron both flyout to end inning. Stars up 6-0 and Gonzales is a base 6 now . Top of second judge solo shot . Bottom 3rd stars score two more . Up 8-1 . Top 4th Votto lead off solo homer , judge follows him with second solo shot of night . Stars up 8-3 . Bottom 5th Suarez gets his 4th straight hit a solo shot and his 3rd rbi of the game . Bottom of 7th stars score 3 more and Suarez will get his 4th rbi by walk . Stars up 12-3 . Top 8 Ahmed walk , Barnhart on by Gennett error , Hicks rbi single. Peralta k , Votto DP . Juggs lose 12-4 . Degrom CG won only 4 hits 3 ER 3 HR 2 BB 11k. Gonzales CG loss. Juggs 4/4/0. Stars 12/18/1. Game 2 Juggs throw Chacin. Stars Kershaw. Bottom of 2nd stars score first gregarious one out double Zobrist two out rbi single, inciarte HBP, Suarez walk, Pederson two rbi single . Stars up 3-0. Top 4th Donaldson solo shot lowrie walk with one out , Anderson PR steals second, Villar PO to RF Anderson tags goes to 3rd , kershaw was pulled after lowrie walked only goes 3.1 ip. Barnhart walk , 3rd pitching change of inning, Peralta will PH for Ahmed with 2 outs runners on corners , oberg in will be a 17 vs Peralta only takes 7 away, Peralta has 10 good hit numbers only one bad . Top 9th Barnhart lead off double, stars bring in their 5th reliever of game Chapman lefty to face -10 Peralta. Hicks PH rolls 11=5 homer turned back , double scores Barnhart, Cruz PH for Iglesias, stars think hard then make a crucial pitching change with a 6-2 lead pull -63/+51 chapman for dyson. Great move because Cruz rolls a 65 result and springer, judge results 12 all three potentially walks with Chapman, a run would have scored and bases would have been loaded with no outs, good move by stars they win 6-2 . Oberg got the win . Juggs 2/5/2 stars 6/14/3. Game 3 . Things only get worse for Juggs . Trevor Williams a righty 14 1y +16/+23 throws a shutout, no hitter . Juggs rolled 10 hit numbers all 8 and all taken away manage only 4 base runners all walks and no one made it to second base . Stars win 4-0.  Minor gets the loss hits 3 batters in 5.1 ip. Bottom of second stars hit 3 doubles and get a HBP score two runs . Score again in 3rd and 5th. Juggs 0/0/0 stars 4/9/0 . Juggs now 46-47

Bottom of third  bees 4 singles and a double score 3, bees up 5-1 . Top 6th smith one out single, Iglesias HBP, Voit walk bases full , judge roll =37 bees get fld 1 LDP no runs . Bees up 2-1 . Bottom of 3rd Juggs have a chance to tie it Peralta one out two run shot stopped by Castillo +15 double now only one scores . Juggs down 2-1.
