Lymebees at Unhinged Wahoos

Game 1; Bumgarner vs Bauer; Bees get the first run in the 2nd. With 2 outs Valbuena doubles and Reddick singles him in. In the 4th Upton hits solo HR. Bees add 5 more runs in the 5th with 2 of them being unearned runs. Bees end their scoring with a 3-run HR by Reddick in the 7th. Wahoos get a solo HR by Arenado in the 7th and 1 run in the 8th as Bees win 10-2.
Game 2; Arrieta vs Iglesias; Bees get 1 run in the 3rd, 1 run in the 4th, a solo HR by Hosmer to lead off the 6th, 5 runs in the 8th with Franco hitting a 3-run HR and 1 run in the 9th. Arrieta goes the distance for a 9-1 Bees win and evens his record at 7-7 for the season.
Game 3; Syndergaard vs Cole; Wahoos get all the runs needed with a leadoff single by Zobrist in the 6th followed by a 2-run HR by Encarnacion. Cole pitches into the 9th with Miller coming in to seal the win for the Wahoos at 2-0.
Lymebees record is at 37-26 and stats are attached. Lymebees team ERA is 2.68 for the season with no one hitting .300.

Arrogant Bastards at Lymebees

Game 1; Karns vs Arrieta; Bastards get 1 run in the 4th, 2 runs in the 6th and 1 run in the 8th. Bees get a 2-run HR by Lind in the 8th, but Bastards get a 2-run HR of their own in the 9th by Trout as Bastards win 6-2.

Game 2; Scherzer vs Hendricks; Bees get a 2-out 2-run HR by Upton in the 1st and another run in the 2nd. Hendricks gets pulled in the 4th after a leadoff single to Gonzalez. Turner pops out, but Ortiz doubles and Bees pull Siegrist for Giles, who gets Martin to strike out. Parra flies out to end the inning. Bees relievers hold up until the top of the 9th as Ortiz gets a one out walk. Andrus pinch runs for him and steals second. Pillar pinch hits for Martin and makes an out. Parra singles in the Bastards only run an Longoria pinch hits, but strikes out to end the game as Bees win 3-1.

Game 3; Salazar vs Gray; Bastards score first as Trout puts one over the wall in the 1st. Lymebees would score 5 runs in the bottom of the first with Reddick getting a 3-run HR. Bees add 3 more runs in the 3rd as Gray goes 8 innings and Bees get the 8-1 win.

Lymebees record is at 35-25.

Lymebees at Speakers

Game 1; Syndergaard vs Severino; Speakers would open the scoring in the 2nd on a leadoff triple by Davis followed by a Machado 2-run HR. Bees would come back with a Tulowitzki leadoff HR in the 3rd and tie the game in the same inning on 3 singles. Speakers come back in the bottom of the 3rd with 3 runs scoring on the next 5 batters, but the next 3 made outs to end the inning. Bees get a 2-run HR by Tulowitzki in the 4th and Hosmer hits a solo HR in the 5th to tie things up. Simmons singles for Speakers to lead off the 6th and, with the hit-and-run on, Kinsler hits a triple and is thrown out at home. Bees tie things up again in the 8th as Beltre hits a leadoff HR. That’s the way things stayed until the top of the 11th as Tulowitzki leads off with a double and Norris follows with a game-winning double as Bees win 7-6.

Game 2; Gray vs Price; Gray would pitch a complete game 6-hit shutout as Beltre would hit a solo HR in 4th and Bees add 2 runs in 7th and 1 run in 9th to win 4-0.

Game 3; Bumgarner vs Harvey; Speakers would score a run on a Betts triple after a lead off single, but Betts get stranded at 3rd. Bees would tie the score in the 2nd as Reddick would hit a two out single. Tulowitzki gets on by error and Norris singles in a run. Speakers get runners on 2nd and 3rd and Posey sac flies a run in for the lead. Bees would start the 5th with Norris hitting a single and going to second on an outfield error. Polanco fielders choices him to 3rd and Hosmer gets the runner home when Baez at short makes his second error of the game to tie things up. Beltre would single for the Bees to lead off the 12th. Reddick hits into a fielders choice runner out at second and then steals second. Tulowitzki strikes out, but with 2 outs, Norris hits a double to give the Bees a 3-2 lead and that would be the final score.

Lymebees at Asian Tsunamis

Game 1; Gray vs Gio Gonzalez; Tsunamis get 2 walks in the 4th. With 2 outs, a double scores a run and the other runner is thrown out at home to end the inning. In the 7th, Tsunamis get a 2-out single by Phillips to score a run and Phillips is caught stealing to end the inning. Bees would put runners in scoring position in the first 5 innings, but not able to score as Tsunamis win 2-0.

Game 2; Bumgarner vs Zimmermann; Bees score 1 run in the 1st. Tsunamis get a leadoff HR by Ryan Zimmerman in the 1st and Gutierrez hits a 2-run HR in the same inning. In the 2nd, Ramos hits a solo HR for the Tsunamis. Bees score 3 runs in the 3rd to tie the score until the top of the 7th. With 2 outs Yelich walks and Bees hit and run as Hosmer hits a triple and is thrown out at home. Tsunamis get 5 straight walks off of 3 different Bees pitchers to lead off the 8th inning. With 1 out Valencia (#9 batter) hits a Grand Slam. Bees would get 1 unearned run in the 9th as Tsunamis win 10-6.

Game 3; Arrieta vs Kershaw; Kershaw pitches 4 perfect innings before giving up a leadoff single to Braun. Gonzalez gets a single with Braun running and is sac flied in by Beltre. Arrieta goes 5 1/3 perfect innings before giving up a hit to Gordon, who would score on a 2-out double by Cabrera in the 6th to tie the game. Arrieta gives up a leadoff HR to Davis in the 8th. Both pitchers would stay in for complete games as Tsunamis win 2-1 and a 3 game sweep.
Lymebees record at 30-24 and hit just .194 – .218 – .276 for the series while giving up over 5 runs per game.

Eliminators at Lymebees

Game 1; Hernandez vs McCullers; Pollock leads off the game with a double, but is stranded there. Pollock leads off the 6th with a solo HR. Eliminators get a leadoff runner (McCuthcen); Heyward walks, Donaldson strikes out, Ethier singles in a run and Kinsler walks. Mauer hits for Freeman and hits into an inning-ending double play. Bees stay off the board until the 9th when Cano leads off with a double. Beltre makes an out, Reddick hits a game-tying 2-run HR off Hernandez, Tulowitzki strikes out, Avila walks and Hernandez’s day is done. Gonzalez runs for Avila. Wilson comes in to pitch to Yelich, who is pinch hit for with Braun who singles. Hosmer hits a game-winning double for a 3-2 come-from-behind Bees win.
Game 2; Smyly vs Bumgarner; Reddick leads off the Bees 3rd with a double, Gonzalez HBP and Norris follows with a 3-run HR. Eliminators in the 4th get a leadoff walk to McCuthen, Donaldson single, Martinez pop out, Puig doubles in 1 run, Kinsler walks to load the bases and Mauer and Castillo strike out to end the inning. Bees get 1 run in the 5th, and that would end the scoring with Giles coming in to finish the last inning and a third as Bees win 4-1.
Game 3; Sale ve Hendricks; Braun would lead off the Bees 2nd with a solo HR. Eliminators tie the score in the top of the 4th. Bees take the lead back with 2 runs in the bottom of the 4th and one more run in 5th. Bees bring in Capps to pitch the 9th. Ethier singles and Harrison pinch runs. Kinsler and Freeman make outs, Correa hits a 2-run HR to put the Eliminators within one. Jones hits for Castillo and walks, but Pollock would strike out to end the game as Bees win 4-3.
Lymebees record at 30-21 and await Craig this Friday. Lymebees starters each gave up one run in their starts, with the relievers giving up one unearned run by Kimbrel and two earned runs by Capps.
