Game 1: Rodon vs Bumgarner; Bees score first with unearned run in 1st, Dozier leads off 2nd with solo HR, Guyer leads off 3rd and get on a catch error, Abreu strikes out, Dozier single, Maybin out, Recker doubles in two and Harper follows with a 2 run HR as all 4 runs unearned, Bees would get a 1 out double by Gonzalez in 7th with a Reddick single to score him, Browns get solo HR’s by Harper and Iglesias in 8th and win easily/ Browns 7/11/1 Bees 2/8/1

Game 2: Cueto vs Hendricks; Bees score 2 runs in 1st on a Pederson HR, Bees go on to add 2 runs in 3rd, 2 runs in 4th, Cano hits a solo HR in 5th, 2 more runs in 6th and Hendricks has a complete game shutout/ Bees 9/10/0 Browns 0/4/1

Game 3: Snell vs Miranda; Browns load the bases with no out in 1st and Cabrera hits a sac fly to score 1st run, Bees come back with 2 runs in top of 4th on a Franco shot, Browns would come back and get 6 runs in bottom of 4th to chase Snell with Seager hitting a 2 run HR and Rodriguez a 3 run HR before the first out was recorded, Browns would add 5 more runs over 6th, 7th and 8th for the win/ Browns 12/14/0 Bees 2/4/0

Game 4: Fulmer vs Taillon; Bees start game with two outs but Pederson walks and Cano hits 2 run HR followed by a solo HR by Contreras, Browns get 2 runs in bottom of 1st, Bees get solo HR by Beltre to lead off 2nd and with two outs Pederson hits a 3 run HR, Browns get one back in bottom of 2nd, Bees score in 4th and Browns get 2 runs in 4th, Bees start 5th with back to back doubles followed by back to back errors on Seager at short as Bees cruise to a win and a series split/ Bees 11/12/1 Browns 5/10/4

A few Browns Notes from Manager Tony:

The Sharts Slashed .255/.350/.474 including 19 walks.

The Browns Starters worked to a 8.27 ERA in the series while the pen posted a 1.26 mark.

Brian Dozier was 8 for 16 in the series with a HR, 2B and 3B while driving in 4 runs and scoring 5. He was 5-5 vs LHP.

Hairpin had 2 homers and 6 walks in the series driving in 3 and scoring 5.

In his first start at SS J. Iglesias reached the seats off Bumgarner with a 66-33, one of only 3 homers he has in the 2nd column.

C. Seager committed 4 errors in the series including 3 in game Four, with two of those coming on Back-to-back chances.

Game 1 Bumgardner vs Quintana
Bum strikes out the side to start the game then the bees put 3 on the board bottom of first on a lead off walk to Arica Leon and Braun both single then Cano doubles

A 3 run hr by Broxton top of 2nd ties the game Schimpf singled and Ramos had walked leading up to the big blast. Top of 3 stars still playing long ball. Double by Pedroia single by Tomas scored Pedroia one out later Ramos goes yard!!!! 2 runs score. Now 6 to 3 Stars.
Bottom of four Upton goes deep making it 6 to 4. Lymebees score again on a walk to Leon scoring on a fielders choice later in inning.

Lymebees add four more in 6th and another two in 8th featuring a hr by Leon. Two doubles by Cano two singles by Beltre. Winning big Final Lymebees 11. Stars 6

Game 2. Devenski. Vs. DeSclafani
Three singles in bottom of first for Lymebees and score a run on Contrerras single They get another in the third Reddick scoring on a double by the catcher Contrerras he also homers in the 6th OMG catchers are killing me.

Stars only get an unearned run in the 6th.
Final Lymebees 3. Stars 1

Game 3 Lackey vs Snell
Stars score in bottoms of first on a walk to Dyson and a two out single by Schimpf!!

That’s it folks Lackey pitches a gem Rzepcynski helps out last two innings
Stars win 1 to 0

Game 4. Finnegan vs Syndagard
Cano blasts a two run shot top of first
Stars answer same inning with doubles by Villar and Dyson and single by HFP To tie it at 2

Nobody does anything until 8 th inning Pedroia gets a lead off single
Broxton pinchruns steals second
Stars play small ball. Sac by Villar and then Dyson (would have been a single if I didn’t sac) scores Broxton
Lymebees get a lead off walk to Leon then move him to second before bowing out for a Stars 3 to 2 victory

Series was a split.

2016 Playoffs – #3 vs. #2

Lymebees/Plague series played Monday (12/5).

Game 1; Gray vs Fernandez; Bees get 1 run in 1st, 1 run in 6th and 3 runs in 7th before Plague come back in bottom of 7th with 3 runs of there own, both teams would get single runs in 8th and Bees hold on to win 6-4

Game 2; Bumgarner vs Garcia; Plague get a solo HR by Goldschmidt in 1st, Bees tie score in 4th on a Beltre 2 out double, Bees take the lead in 6th on a 2 out single by Beltre and Bees hold on to win 2-1

Game 3; McCullers vs Matz; Bees get a unearned run in 2nd on no hits, Plague get a 3 run HR by Brantley in 3rd, Bees get a run in 4th, Plague get a run in 7th and in the 8th Goldschmidt hits a 2 out solo HR, Bees get a lead off HR by Franco in 9th and Tulowitzki scores in 9th to get things closer but that would be it as Plague win 5-4

Game 4; Syndergaard vs Sanchez; Cano hits a solo HR for Bees in 2nd, Plague get a run in 3rd, both teams score in 6th, Bees get a run in 7th in 9th they would add 3 more with Hosmer hitting a 2 run HR as Bees win 6-2

Plague at Lymebees

Game 5; Fernandez vs Gray; Plague get to Gray for 6 runs and Grimm would give up another 5 runs in top of 9th and Fernandez goes all 9 innings for a complete game shutout and a 11-0 Plague win

Game 6; Garcia vs Bumgarner; Bees would score first with a lead off HR by Hosmer in 4th, Plague tie game in 6th and get the lead in 8th as both teams use there bullpens and 5 relievers and Plague win 2-1

Game 7; Estrada vs McCullers; Lymebees score 2 runs in 3rd and 2 more runs in 9th and that should be enough for this team to win most games BUTT the Plague get 3 runs in 1st on 2 hits and 5 runs in 2nd on 3 hits, solo HR by Moustakis in 3rd, 2 runs in 5th-6th-7th innings as McCullers gives up 7 runs, Siegrist 4 runs, Givens 2 runs and Giles 2 runs as Plague win the game 15-4 and the series 4-3 to move on.

Home teams go 1-6.

Asian Tsunamis at Lymebees

Game 1; Nola vs Bumgarner; Bees score on a leadoff 4 base error and add another run in 1st. Bees get a solo HR by Upton in the 3rd. Bees get a sac fly run in the 6th. Tsunamis get a solo HR by Gutierrez in the 7th as Bees hold on to win 4-1.

Game 2; Chen vs Gray; Bees again score in the 1st with a 2-run HR by Travis and add single runs in 7th and 8th and with the help of 2 relievers. Bees win 4-0.

Game 3; Gonzalez vs Hendricks; Bees would score first with a single run in the 2nd. Hendricks gives up a leadoff double to Grichuk in the 5th and is pulled. But, Siegrist gives up a game-tying double. Tsunamis would get back-to-back doubles in the 9th to take the lead 2-1. Bees would get two runners on in the bottom of the 9th, but Reddick makes the final out as Tsunamis win this one 2-1.

Bees finish the season at 52-38 with a .234 batting average, .382 slugging and 2.70 ERA.

Shooting Stars II at Lymebees

Game 1: Fiers vs Hendricks: Inciarte walks to start the 1st. Escobar singles and Pence doubles to score both runners. Granderson would single, but Pence is thrown out at home. Bees are quiet until the 8th when Reddick leads off with a double and moves to third on a fielders choice. Norris walks and Bees get their only run on another fielders choice. Stars get 2 runs in the top of the 9th and go on to win 4-1.

Game 2: Keuchel vs Bumgarner: Stars get a sac fly to score a run in the 1st. Bees tie things up in the 6th. Bumgarner gets the first 2 outs in the 9th and is replaced by Giles, who strikes out Rupp. Bees get a 1-out double by Hosmer. With 2 outs Reddick singles in Hosmer for a 2-1 Bees win.

Game 3: Lynn vs McCullers: Bees would score first with 1 earned and 1 unearned run in the 3rd. Stars get back-to-back doubles for a run in the 3rd. Bees score another run in the bottom of the 3rd. Stars would get a run in the 5th, but that would be the end of the scoring as Bees win 3-2.

Lymebees record at 48-36 and need to schedule the Wahoos.
