2016 Third Period

Lymebees at Eliminators

Game 1; McCullers vs Sale; Bees manufacture a run in the 1st on a Yelich walk, Travis hit-and-run single and Braun sac fly. Bees would get another run in the 5th and an unearned run in the 7th. McCullers pitches out of trouble in the first two innings and gets two outs in the 9th before giving up a double and gets pulled. Bees win 3-0.

Game 2; Syndergaard vs Smyly; Bees get a 2-run by Hosmer in the 2nd, a leadoff solo HR by Braun in the 4th, and another 2-run HR by Tulowitzki in the 7th before the Eliminators get back-to-back doubles by Heyward and Harrison in the 7th and another run in the 9th as Bees win 5-2.

Game 3; Gray vs Volquez; Both teams would score single runs in the 2nd and 3rd innings. Eliminators would get a 2-out single by Ethier in the 5th for their 3rd run. Bees would tie the game up in the 9th without getting a hit. Eliminators get a single by Martinez in the bottom of the 9th to pull out the 4-3 win.

Lymebees record is at 46-35.

2016 Third Period

Speakers at Lymebees

Game 1: Arrieta vs Syndergaard: Speakers get a HR by Rizzo in the 1st and would add another run in the 7th and 9th. Arrieta goes into the 9th giving up just two walks, but with 2 outs, Hosmer singles (22-7) to break up his no-hit bid. Speakers win 3-0.

Game 2: Harvey vs Hendricks: Speakers get on the board first, scoring 2 runs in the 4th. Bees come back in the bottom of the 4th, scoring 3 with Beltre hitting a 2-run HR. Bees add 2 more runs in the 7th, 1 run in the 8th and go on to win 6-2.

Game 3: Price vs Bumgarner: Bees would get on the board in the 4th. After 2 2-out walks, Beltre singles in a run. Bees get a 2-run double from Hosmer in the 5th. Speakers get single runs in the 8th and 9th. Bees get a solo HR by Hosmer and 2-run HR by Beltre in the 8th. Bees win 6-2.

Lymebees record is at 44-34.

Lymebees at The Plague

Game 1; Hendricks vs Sanchez; The Plague gets a leadoff HR by Hamilton in the 1st with Goldy adding another on a single. The Plague get a 2-out double in the 2nd by Kipnis to score Hamilton. Bees get a 2-out 2-run double by Lind in the 6th. Bees would get a couple of walks in the 7th, but do not score again as The Plague wins, 3-2.

Game 2; Bumgarner vs Kazmir; Bees get a 2-out 2-run double by Tulowitzki in the 2nd, a 3-run HR by Braun in the 3rd, and another run by the Bees in the 5th. The Plague score 1 run in the bottom of the 5th. Bees score another run in the 6th. Lindor hits a 2-run HR for The Plague in the bottom of the 6th. Bees add 2 runs in the 9th and win 9-3.

Game 3; Gray vs Ramirez; The Plague get a 2-run HR by Cain in the 2nd. Bees tie the game in the 7th with a 2-run HR by Tulowitzki. The Plague get a 2-out walk and steal of second by Cain, followed with an RBI single by Moustakas. Bees get a 2-out walk to Valbuena in the 9th and pinch run Braun, who gets thrown out on a 65 roll to end the game. The Plague wins again, 3-2.

Lymebees at Shartlesville Browns

Game 1; Syndergaard vs Paxton; Browns score single runs in the 2nd and 4th on Espinosa singles. Browns get 2-run HRs by Duda and Harper in the 4th. Bees come back with 4 runs in the 6th with Franco getting a 2-run HR. Browns go on to win 6-4.

Game 2; Gray vs Cueto; Bees get a 2-out single by Yelich in the 5th to score the first run. In the 6th, Cano singles in the 2nd run with 1 out. Braun’s pinch hit double in the 9th ends the Bees scoring as Gray pitches a complete game 2-hitter. Bees win 3-0.

Game 3; McCullers vs Gilmartin; Bees get 4 hits in the 5th and score 3 runs. Browns come back with a 2-out double by Jones with K. Seager single for the Browns first run. Bees get 3 hits in the 7th to score one run. Browns counter with a solo HR by Abreu. Bees hold on to win 4-2.

Lymebees record at 41-31 and looking to schedule remaining series.

Lymebees at Lemonheads

Game 1; Gray vs Liriano; Gray pitches a complete game shutout giving up 2 hits and 1 walk. Bees would get a 2-run double by Norris in the 7th for the only scoring. Bees win 2-0.

Game 2; Bumgarner vs Odorizzi; Bees get a solo HR by Lind in the 1st. Lemonheads get a 3-run HR by Martinez and score 5 runs in the 1st; and, a 2-run HR by Belt in the 2nd. Bees would get one run in the 3rd and that would end the scoring as Lemonheads win 7-2.

Game 3; Hendricks vs Greinke; Lemonheads score 6 runs in the 2nd with Duffy popping a 3-run HR. Lemonheads add single runs in the 6th and 8th. Yelich leads off the 9th with a single to center that Blackmon boots with Yelich ending up at second. After 2 strike outs Upton doubles to score Yelich for the Bees only run. Lemonheads win 8-1.
