Juggs to Wahoo Nation

Juggs travel to Wahoo nation for 3 games . Game one saw Sabathia on the mound for Juggs and Cole for wahoos . Sabathia goes 2.2 innings and is injured on a RP out 6 games . He allowed 3 runs in the third inning only one earned . Juggs get one back in top of 4th , then tie it up in 5th with a Votto 2 run homer . Wahoos answer back bottom of 5th with Arenado solo shot . Then bottom of 5th wahoos extend their lead , Maldonado solo homer and Aguilar 2run dinger . Then in bottom 6th Arenado another solo shot . Bottom of 7th Reyes gets a two run shot . Now 10-3 wahoos lead in bottom of 7th . Last two innings no scoring wahoos win 10-3 . Wahoos have 14 hits no errors. Juggs had 11 hits and 2 errors. Game 2 :much closer Juggs starter chacin goes 6.1 ip 2 runs only one earned but gets the loss . Bauer goes 7 ip for a 3-1 win no homers in this game . But Ohtani DHs this game and is scheduled to pitch next game . He goes 2/3 2 doubles one rbi and a walk . I warn manager Mike that he’s going to be tired from all that running when he pitches in our game 3 . Game 3 Ohtani goes against Juggs ace Carasco. Here we go folks top of first M. Smith walks , Peralta H&R gets a second column 4 , would normally be a triple but H&R changes it to single runner to third . Votto single rbi, Winker double 2 rbi, Muncy fly left , Hicks flyout left, Gennett rbi double, Dejong 2 rbi homer , Molina ground out all 9 batters hit first inning for a 6-0 lead , next inning Smith lead off single. That’s it manager Mike says and pulls Ohtani. Ohtani one inning pitched 6 hits 6 ER 1HR 1BB . Berrios wahoos number 4 starter comes in for relief. Pitches 6 innings and gives up 6 more runs . At the end of the top of 5th inning Juggs lead 12-0 . Bottom of 5th carasco has bad inning allows 4 runs Aguilar 2 run triple after altuve HBP and Arenado two run homer . 12-4 Juggs . Bottom of 7th wahoos add two more Arenado another 2 run homer . Juggs 12-6 what the heck is going on . Bottom of 8th carasco gives up lead off double to Markakis and that’s it he is pulled . Bradley comes in and he gets knocked around giving up a walk and rbi double, one out buchter now comes in to face altuve with runners on 2nd and 3rd , crack altuve rips a 2 rbi double, 12-9 now . Hirano brought in now to stop the bleeding. Ks Aguilar, walk Arenado, k Encarnacion for third out . Top off ninth Juggs get a 3 run homer from Muncy to gain some cushion, score now 15-9 Juggs and that’s how it will end as Hirano gets 3 outs in bottom of 9th . Muncy has Monster game for Juggs 3/5 6 RBI 1 HR 1BB. Arenado had 4 homers and 6 rbis in the series for the wahoos. Juggs now 8-7 record.

Bees Sting Wahoos

Game 1; Kluber vs Hendricks; 4th inning for Wahoos get bases loaded with 1 out PB scores 1 run Myers strikes out, Torreyes hits to Beltre who makes error and another run scores and that would be all of the scoring as both pitchers go the distance and Wahoos win 2-0.

Game 2; Sale vs Bumgarner; Bees get HR by Upton in 1st and add 4 more in 2nd including Arcia’s 2 run HR, Wahoos get there only run in 6th and Bees go on to win 8-1.

Game 3; Strasburg vs Fulmer; Bees get 2 runs in 2nd, Wahoos tie game in 3rd and Myers hits a solo HR in 4th, Bees tie game in 5th and get 2 runs in 6th and hold on to win this one 5-3.

Lymebees record at 34-29 and looking to schedule some games.

Game 1; Kluber vs Clevinger; Wahoos score unearned run in 2nd without a hit, 2 run double by Benintendi in 3rd and 2 run 2 out HR by Encarnacion in 4th, Bees get a 2 run HR by Puig in 5th but that would be it as Kluber pitches a complete game 5-2 win.

Game 2; Sale vs Ray; Pham leads off 1st for Bees and is HBP and Upton is up next and hits a 2 run HR, a few pitching changes in game as Ray, Giles and Devenski pitch the shutout for a 2-0 Bees win.

Game 3; Strasburg vs Fulmer; Wahoos get 2 run 2 out single by Encarnacion in 1st, Bees get solo HR by Beltre in 3rd, Bees tie game in 6th on a Pham HR, Maldonado doubles to lead off the Wahoos 9th Altuve singles and with runners on 1st and 3rd the Bees elect to stay back and Santana hits into a double play that scores the go ahead run, Bees go down 1-2-3 in ninth as Wahoos win 3-2.

Lymebees record at 14-10.

Speakers at Unhinged Wahoos

Due to a lack of Major League baseball last Monday (10/2), the Unhinged Wahoos suggested an impromptu OOTL series.

Game 1 – Carlos Martinez blanks the Wahoos on 3 hits. Yoenis Cespedes’ 2nd inning 2-run single brings home the only runs of the game. Roberto Osuna records the final out with the bases juiced, striking out Carlos Gomez on a hit number. Martinez (+33) turns back Wil Myers’ potential game-tying 2-run homer with 2 outs in the 9th. Speakers win 2-0.

Game 2 – Stephen Strasburg’s ugly 1st inning allows 3 runs on 2 hits, 2 walks, and 2 unearned on Brandon Crawford’s throwing error. That’s all David Price and Brad Hand would need. Price picks up where Martinez leaves off allowing 3 hits through 8 IP. Nolan Arenado’s RBI triple in the 4th scores the only Unhinged run. He’s stranded at 3rd with no outs following 2 pop ups and a liner back to Price. Speakers hang on, 3-1.

Game 3 – Mookie Betts slugs his team-leading 9th home run in the 3rd, good for 2 runs after Andrelton Simmons’ double. The Wahoos have 2 on with 1 out in the 6th when Edwin Diaz takes over for Jeremy Hellickson. Jose Altuve greets Diaz with a hard-hit RBI single (7). Diaz then retires Edwin Encarnacion and Arenado on deep fly outs.

With 2 away in the 7th, the Wahoos string together 3 more hits off Diaz, including Gomez’s RBI double (3-4, D, RBI, R). Adam Libertore strands runners at the corners by retiring Spanky Eaton on a hit number that became a fly out tailing away from Cespedes.

Altuve coaxes a lead off walk in the 8th. Encarnacion crushes a ball off Jeremy Jeffress that barely stays in the yard (+51 turn back). Betts wings the ball to Simmons who nails Altuve at the plate.

To break the 2-2 tie in the 9th, Anthony Rizzo doubles home Ian Kinsler, who singled with 2 outs. Jeffress sets down the Wahoos in order in the bottom half to earn his 5th win.

The Wahoos out-hit the Speakers 10-7, but come up short in the run column, 3-2. The Speakers out-score the Wahoos in the sweep, 8-3.
