Juggs travelled to Bees for a crazy series. Juggs luckily win 2 of 3 in series. Bees are first team this season to throw 3 lefties in a series against Juggs. Game 1 : Wood for Juggs . Wild man Ray for Bees. Top first Juggs strand runners on first and second with one out . Bottom of first Molina error allows Laureano on first with one out , but he goes nowhere. Top second Juggs strand runners on first and second again with two outs . Bottom of 2nd Molina makes his second error of game so lead off runner Cano can get to first with two outs Olson infield single gets cano to second then Contreras grounds out to End inning. Top of 3rd Voit left stranded on first with a one out single. Bottom 3rd Yelich two out single gets Braun to 3rd but Cano flyout ends inning. Bottom of 4th Bees score first off Juggs third error of game . Cron two base error to mondesi with one out . Contreras will single him home with two outs . Bees up 1-0 . Top 5th Juggs strike back . Smith one out single. Steals second, Iglesias rbi single. Two outs Votto will Ph for Cron to face kimbrel who replaces starter Ray . (Ray only walked two batters in 4.2 ip with his -46 control) boom Votto smacks one over the RF wall scoring Iglesias also. Juggs up 3-1 . Bottom of 6th Bees get two out rally mondesi doubles off wood Olson then walks and wood is done . Hirano in and Contreras is pulled for PH zunino. Hirano first pitch is wild putting runners on 2nd and 3rd two outs . But he settles in to k Zunino for out 3 ending rally attempt . Juggs go on to win 3-1 wood win Oh save . Both teams finish with 6 hits but Juggs have 3 errors Bees none . Note Villar steals second in top of 9th for his 23 SB of season. Game 2 : a pair of lefties again. Gonzales for Juggs Bumgarner for Bees .juggs jump out in front quickly,smith lead off double, Iglesias ground out smith stays at second, but next batter Bumgarner WP smith to 3rd , Voit then singles home smith, Cron po to catcher 2 outs , judge walk , springer single scores Voit from second Donaldson single scores judge from second, Gennett flyout Center ends inning. Juggs up 3-0 . Bottom of first Pham lead of single, Chapman one out double gets Pham to 3rd . Yelich rbi grounder moves runners one base . Juggs up 3-1 . Bottom of second Bees strike again,Braun lead off single, Contreras two out walk , Pham rbi single scores Braun, laureano two out double scores Contreras and Pham . Bees up 4-3 . Top 3rd Voit lead off single, Cron two run blast . Juggs up 5-4 . Bottom of 5th Pham lead off walk , laureano single . Gonzales done 4 ip 5 Er . Chavez in gets first two batters, then Hernandez PH single scores Pham , game tied 5-5 . Chavez will stay to finish game and get the loss . Gives up a solo homer to mondesi in 6th and solo shot to Puig in 8th . Juggs lose 7-5 . In top of 6th Leclerc Came in and shutdown Juggs for 2.2 innings but in top of 8th with two outs Votto single, Villar PR judge single Villar to second. Leclerc pulled for McFarland runners on first and second two outs . But Juggs have a plan . So when Peralta came in to Ph for springer to face Leclerc, that’s when McFarland came in , so McFarland is a 30 against Peralta. He loses everything even 0 to a 7 . So Villar steals 3rd . Runners on 1st and 3rd but that board is almost as bad for Peralta as 1st and 2nd . So Villar attempts a steal of home to tie game . Villar caught, for only third time on season second time trying for home . He is 1 of 3 for steals of home . Juggs lose game two 7-5 no errors that game Juggs 8 hits Bees 9 hits . Game 3: Carasco for Juggs Freeland for Bees . Bottom of second with one out Iglesias error puts on Puig then Cron error puts on Olson, but they are left stranded. No score till top of 6th Gennett lead off walk , Villar PR Molina hit and run 14 result, Villar steals second for his 25th SB . Molina single sends Villar to 3rd . Grichuk PR for Molina,no outs , Smith rbi single scores Villar. Iglesias fc out advance runners to 2nd and 3rd one out . Voit sac fly out of an 8 converted to 32 . Cron k ends inning. Juggs up 2-0 . Bottom of 6th Andujar one out double left stranded. Bottom of 7th carasco starts Inning gets Zunino to k , but Torres single, Chapman flyout Center out number 2 , then upton steps into a pitch Hit batter . Carasco pulled . Hirano in . Hernandez up , bink, another batter HBP fills bases with two outs .then Yelich walks an RBI in, andujar single scores upton but thank goodness Hernandez is thrown out at home plate by judge . Game tied 2-2 .top of 8th Villar up stayed in game at second base, Freeland fatigue factor so Bees go to bullpen, Moranto face Villar, Villar 66=1 +34 can’t stop it Homer . Juggs up 3-2 . Top of 9th Voit leads off gets on base by Hernandez error, Peralta PR , Votto gets on torres error. Peralta on third . No outs . Donaldson hits into a double play but Peralta scores . Juggs win game 4-2 . Hirano win Oh second save of series. Juggs 5 hits 2 errors. Bees 5 hits 2 errors. Juggs finish first half at 27-21 , Manager Tim very happy with his teams play. We really didn’t think we would be in this position at the midway point of season. We have some tough decisions to make for second half . We will definitely need some relief if we are going to make a run for playoffs. And we do have a lot of talent at SS available for trading. But we won’t give away the farm to get it . So we are open to reasonable trade offers , for any player.
