GM 1 – ELI 3  SP 2 (10 INN) –  In the 2nd, Elims get 3 hits but Acuna is gunned down trying to score by Merrifield.    Elims would breakthrough in the 3rd with Hairpin scoring on a 2 out double by Freeman.  The Elims would stretch that lead to two in the 6th.   Segura would score as the Speakers turned a DP on Acuna.  Elim starter Buehler cruised through the 1st 6 only allowing 3 hits.  Speakers come to life in the 7th.  Rendon led off with a single and scored on a Narvaez double.   Simmons followed with a single but Narvaez was thrown out trying to score by Rosario.   The Speakers started strong in the 8th as Merrifield led off with a double and chased Buehler.   Yates relieved and got Soto to ground out to short with Merrifield moving to third.  The inning then ended on a 4-4-5 double play by Betts.   Smith was called on to close the 9th but Rendon’s solo blast sent the game to extra innings.   The Eliminators were able to score one in the top of the 10th.   A one out walk to Escobar, Gomes double, and Panik SF scored the winning run.  Smith and McHugh combined to get the Speakers to go 1-2-3 in the 10th for the win.

Freeman 3 for 4 with a Double in the win     Rendon and Simmons each had two hits in the loss.

GM 2 – SP 2  ELI 1 – Elims jumped out quickly on Martinez with a 1st inning run on a Rosario RBI single.  In the bottom of the 2nd, each pitcher was downgraded due to a rain delay.  The Speakers would tie it in the 2nd on a two out RBI single by Soto.   Hairpin leads off the 3rd with a walk and proceeds to 3rd on two wild pitches.  Segura would then hit into the 4-4-5 double play.   Freeman followed with a double but the inning would end on an Acuna K.  Dahl led off the 3rd with a walk and moved to 3rd on a Profar error.  Narvaez would score Dahl on a SF.    The Speakers BP would make that lead hold up by allowing only one hit over the final 5 innings.  However, that one hit was a one out homer in the 9th by Escobar, but that was turned to a double by Osuna.  Diaz came on to get the final two outs for the Speaker win.     

Baez, Rendon, and Soto with 2 hits apiece.

GM 3 – ELI 6  SP 3 (14 INN) – Each team would start slow but a 5 hit 3rd inning by the Speakers would plate 3 runs.   Simmons would hit his 1st HR of the season.  Soto and Rizzo would each drive in runs as well.  The scoreless streak for the Elims would reach 12 innings before they began their comeback.   Gomes led off the 5th with a double and would score on a Hairpin double.   Hairpin would then get picked off 2nd for the 2nd time in the game and end the threat.  A Segura solo blast to lead off the 8th would cut the lead to 3-2.  EROD would relieve THOR and keep the Speakers in check until there were two outs in the 8th.   Machado would single off EROD bringing McHugh into the game.   Simmons would double but Machado would be thrown out at home when a 66 was dropped.  Acuna would led off the 9th with a walk followed by a steal of 2nd.  Gomes one out single plated Acuna and tied the game at 3.   Rogers was pulled and Osuna ended the threat by getting Profar to hit into an inning-ending double play.   The bullpens would be the story moving forward.  After the Profar double play, the Speaker bullpen would retire the next 14 batters.    Then in the 14th the Eliminator bats would come alive.  4 out of 5 batters would double to score 3 runs.   The Eliminator bullpen would 18 of the last 19 Speaker batters to earn the win.

Gomes with 4 hits and Rosario 3 doubles in the win.      Posey 3 hits in the loss.
